County Parenting Network |
If you're a parent you don't have to be told
that raising a child is hard work. And you can
use all the
help you can get. Well, rest easy. Help has
arrived. It's the Parenting Network, a
partnership between parents, child care
providers, teachers, parent educators, health
care providers, social workers, counselors and
other trained professionals in the community.
The goal of the partnership is to give parents
a single point of access to virtually all the
people and programs they'll need throughout
the child-raising experience.
So if once in a while you find yourself
not knowing where to turn, turn to us. And
sooner or later, you'll find that you're doing
just fine on your own, and you'll be able to
put those training wheels away for good.
There is a one time $5.00 charge to join
Parent Talk. To connect with the Parenting
Network or to become a Parent Talk Member,
call the Parenting Network at 828-465-8151 or
Susan Hanley, Director, at 828-465-9295. Or....
